Seek The Ideal by Daniel BradLee — Inspired by Scripture & Jordan Peterson 6.20.2026 This song draws its foundation from the Word of God and integrates life-optimization principles articulated by Jordan Peterson, including the 8 pillars of optimized living, the spirit of voluntary play, and the vision-journaling framework. Written and produced by Daniel B. Coursen. Lyrics (verses): Intro Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh V1 The day starts with fellowship in the evening, Free time with family and God bringing meaning. Wake with the Scripture, let the Word lead the way, Proverbs Three-Seven — refuse evil, come what may. Don't rely on your own understanding, Simply obey God — that's where we're standing.
Write the vision, yom ree shawn to shah-baht, plain to see, Built on the Rock so it stands securely. Intimate covenant, guard the gaze of the heart, Partner beside you — time together set apart. Family at table, the children gather near, Friend or two to sharpen, iron crystal clear, Job and the calling, the hands trained to heal, Creativity and wellness — pursuing what is real. Ch Seek the ideal — plan it today, Structure brings you clarity and freedom every day. When you're not hungry, tired, or upset, The spirit of voluntary play is what you get. Seek the ideal — aim and watch life shift, Your mind and world reconfigure as a gift. For God and truth — pro Day oh et ver-ih-tah-tay, As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh. Every block of time becomes a step toward what's great — Seek the ideal, make the plan right and real. V2 Treat the calendar as a friend, Plan the day you want from start to end. Five-minute blocks with cushioning pegs, Big breakfast — protein, fat, and eggs, Gird your loins and strengthen arms & legs. Push, pull, carry, run — functional, you see, Gird up — go and be physically healthy, Strengthening the body for God's glory, It's not about pride or just a trophy. Staying away from the world's vanity.
Work in chunks of two to three straight hours, Biggest priority first — that empowers. Ask yourself: If I paid fifty for that hour — Would I hire me, or would the value sour? Fix the things you do on repeat each day, Those routines reflect in your DNA. Br Sabbath comes Friday night, the work is laid down, Scripture and rest — no buying in the town. Six days labor, the seventh is His sign forever. Aim to be a hundred percent completer, But a seventy or fifty and growing still beats never, Ch V3 Love is not merely a feeling in the air — It's covenant, it's sacrifice, it's choosing to be there. Ephesians 5 — a husband gives himself; She's a mission that is never on a shelf. Make her your field of study, learn her heart by name, Her favorites, her laughter — how to brighten her flame. Start with something shared — a meal, a walk, a task, Then hold her hand and listen — enjoy her, make it last. Leviticus 11 keeps the table clean and right, Split hoof and chewing cud, fins and scales in sight. The science backs the Scripture every single time — Lower disease and health is in its prime. Eat well, move strong, rest on the Sabbath — His design. Tithe for His will and make His feasts a ten Every year, then we begin again Everything's accounted, every penny tracked Emergency fund rising — no debt on the back Save and invest, Proverbs six look to the ant Faithful with little — Yeshua inside with civic duty never stalling, Guard against the traps that keep the best men falling. Br Journal what the ideal looks like — three to five years out, Then flip it: what's the ruin if you let the vulnerabilities take route? Every weakness has a direction it could pull, But once you aim, the path aligns — your life becomes more full. The schedule's not a prison — it's a garden that you want to tend, Where everything you love has room and purpose in the end. The kingdom of God is the place where mankind plays forever — Structure your relations right and joy becomes your weather. V4 A city set upon a hill cannot be hid, They'll witness the fruit of what you did. Don't just preach it — live it, let the evidence of the light extend, Seek the ideal not for self alone — but to help every soul to mend. Justice, mercy, walking humbly — that's how kingdoms never end. You can go the distance, you can run a mile You can do what's difficult all with a smile. You can mend relationships with Yeshua's style. Do it for your country, do it for your name. 'Cause there's gonna be a day when you're... Before the one of fame ... Every trial faced, every righteous stand you took — Endure till the end — and keep your name within His book. That God may say He knows your name. 'Cause you burn bright with His Son's flame! Be the student, be the teacher, Be the healer, be the preacher, Be fathers, be leaders, Be mothers, Be home-builders, Be truth seekers! From your home out to the nation let it ring — Everything for the glory of the King! Final Ch ... https://suno.com/s/FywXpVBL83EbPAgE

Shavuot by Daniel BradLee 5.24.2026 Intro The mountain shook, the fire came down, The smoke rose up at the shofar's sound Grew strong beyond the people's power to bear— The voice of God split through the air. He spoke His Word for all to hear, The people trembled, struck with fear. At Sinai's base, the nation stood, As Yahweh declared what's right and good. V1 Fifty days from Egypt's chains they came, Through the sea, through the desert flame. From physical bondage to liberation's cry, To spiritual revelation from the Most High! The mountain burned, the heavens roared, And down came the commandments of the LORD. Ch1 Shavuot! Shavuot! It’s that time of the year, Chag HaKatzir—the harvest is here! Yom HaBikkurim—the firstfruits we bring, Chag Shavuot—feast of weeks to our God we sing! Rejoice before Him, son and daughter, The stranger, the widow—come with us before the Father! Give from your hand as He's blessed your store, A freewill offering—praise Him evermore! V2 Count seven Sabbaths, let them pass, The fiftieth day has come at last. Two loaves of bread with leaven baked, From fine flour of the harvest reaped and raked. Waved high before the Lord, Holy firstfruits, by His Word. No servile work this sacred day— A statute forever, the Scriptures say. In the days before when gathering the harvest mound, Don't reap the fields all down to the ground, Leave the edges for the poor and foreigner to be found. V3 Now in the fields of Bethlehem's wheat, A Moabite woman with humble feet Gleaned what was left for the poor in the land— Ruth found favor by God's own hand. She didn't complain through the hardest of days, But marveled at kindness and gave God the praise. "Why have I found grace in your sight?" she said, And Boaz made sure that this woman was fed. V4 Boaz saw a woman who feared the LORD, Who left her gods and crossed the Jordan ford. He said, "May YHWH repay what you have done, Beneath His wings, your refuge is the Holy One." Boaz went beyond the letter of the law, Provided, protected, and honored what he saw. A kinsman redeemer who paid the price— A shadow of Yeshua's sacrifice! Tag A foreign woman, with a generation's stain, Redeemed by grace and in the Messianic chain! From Ruth and Boaz came King David's throne, And from that line—Messiah, God's own. Ch2 Shavuot! Shavuot! It's that time in summer! Chag HaKatzir—harvest for the farmer! Yom HaBikkurim—the firstfruits we bring, Chag Shavuot—feast of weeks to our God we sing! Two loaves with leaven waved on high, Accepted as firstfruits before the Most High! V5 Two loaves of bread held high— What do they mean, what is the why? Perhaps reminding us of God's double portion blessing of the land, Or the two stone tablets carved by God's own hand. Or maybe this: two peoples across time Both full of leaven, yet grafted to the vine, Waved before God as firstfruits all by design. Br First on stone, then on the heart, A masterpiece of sacred art. A land of milk and honey He had promised, And on this feast, we taste it and stand astonished. His Word is sweeter than honeycomb— And after two thousand years, we are home. V6 Fifteen hundred years from Sinai's flame, The Risen King ascended whence He came. Ten days later, Shavuot again, The faithful gathered—humble, waiting men. Then a sound like rushing mighty wind Filled the house where the disciples had been. Tongues of fire on every head appeared, They spoke in languages they'd never neared! Israelites heard God's praises in their mother tongue, The wonderful works of God were sung! V7 Peter stood and lifted up his voice: "This is what Joel said—now rejoice! God pours His Spirit out on all flesh— Sons and daughters prophesy afresh!" He preached that Jesus, crucified and raised, Was Lord and Christ saying let God be praised! Their hearts were pricked—"What shall we do?" "Repent! Be baptized! God's promise is for you!" Tag2 Three thousand souls were saved that day, From the crooked generation, they turned away. Remember—at Sinai, the calf they made, And three thousand died when from God they strayed. But now, three thousand live—the Spirit's harvest made! V8 Now hear this truth that's often missed: God's laws before Mount Sinai did exist. Noah and his family knew which animals were clean, Abraham tithed—the pattern's clearly seen. God rested on the Sabbath and made it blessed, Abel's animal offerings—he gave his best. Genesis 26:5 says it plain: Abraham kept God's laws—every statute under his domain. The Word at Sinai wasn't something new— It was written down for me and you. Final Ch Shavuot! Shavuot! It's that time in summer! Chag HaKatzir—harvest for the farmer! Yom HaBikkurim—the firstfruits we bring, Chag Shavuot—feast of weeks to our God we sing! From Sinai's fire to the Spirit's flame, From stone to heart—His Word's the same! Give freely now as He has blessed, Include the stranger, the one distressed! Two loaves held high, the wheat fields gold, A story of redemption ages old! Rejoice! Rejoice! As we are told— The feasts of Yahweh will never grow old!

DANIEL'S PAGE

My Son Daniel BradLee is one of my esteemed sons!

He chooses to daily serve YHWH with his whole heart!

This page shares songs he has written for our daily admonishment and for the esteem of YHWH.

He enjoys science, recycling, conserving energy and understanding how to make our world a better place to live for people, plants and animals.

He is studying to become a neurosurgeon and desires to innovate less invasive surgery techniques and inventions.

As President of The Honor System Council at his University he strives to promote campus community integrity.

A Letter of Recommendation from a teacher for Daniel:

I am honored to write this letter to recommend Daniel Coursen as an outstanding student. I taught Daniel for 4th and 5 th grade and in my 20 years experience, I can say with no hesitation, Daniel is a one of a kind student. He excels with his academics, receiving Honor Roll/Straight A’s every marking period. He always goes above and beyond what is expected of him. For example, 5 th grade science fair projects were optional, but not for Daniel. He not only submitted a project, he represented our school at the county fair. He and his classmates helped me start a kindness campaign, Kind is the New Cool, and was selected as our class representative to speak on the local news. Creative and resourceful are two words to describe Daniel. Every day he’d excitedly bring in a new gadget or invention to share with our class that he created at home with common, every day materials. We often joked that we’d all want Daniel with us if we were ever stranded on a deserted island! Daniel always gives his best effort, is an enthusiastic learner, and is not afraid to take risks, but most importantly, more than his academic achievement, is his ability to share his heart with everyone. His willingness to help others, stand up for friends, and unselfishness never went unnoticed in our classroom. Every teacher should be so lucky to have a Daniel in their classroom.

AWESOME!  HALLELUYHWH!

Modest Is Hottest by Daniel BradLee 5.19.2025 V1 I used to think that beauty was skin deep, Chasing trends, showing more than I should keep. Felt empty inside, worn thin, feeling cheap Till truth set me free—God’s love runs deep. My worth’s not in eyes that glance and move on, But a heart that’s pure, where His light has dawned. Ch Modest is hottest, that’s my song, With God’s grace, my heart grows strong. Clothed in virtue, I boldly stand, Building His kingdom, hand in hand. V2 They say to show more, to catch the eye, But that path leads to a soul that's dry. Beauty fades, and charm's a guise, Yet a woman who loves the Lord, her spirit never dies. Men, guard your gaze, let your thoughts stay pure, We’re called to rise, with hearts secure. V3 They say, “Show it off, that’s power, that’s bold,” But their spotlight’s a chain, their praise grows cold. Their gaze dims the soul, the data’s clear I’ll break their chains, YAHWEH’s truth I’ll declare, I should dress for my King, His glory I bear.
Ch Modest is hottest, that’s my song, With God’s grace, my heart grows strong. Clothed in virtue, I boldly stand, Building His kingdom, hand in hand. V4 I’m not here to tempt or to play their game, My body’s a temple, I honor His name. God’s Word I keep within my heart, In righteous ways, I’ll play my part. V5 No shirt hems, shorts, or skirts cut high, No clinging threads to draw the eye. My dresses flow with grace so pure, My ring awaits, my vow is sure V6 At the beach, I still hold true, To modesty in all I do. No two piece suits—they bare too much, I cover up with a gentle touch. My dresses flow, my swimwear’s pure, Modesty’s banner, I’ll always bear. Ch V7 Some say it's control, a way to oppress, But modesty is freedom, nothing less. Without any goodness, how futile the bows, For pinning on petals can never make a rose. V8 Revelation’s call, stay clothed, stay true, When Your trumpet calls, I’ll be ready for You. Clothed in glory, I’ll rise and sing, For I’m a child of the most high King!Ch Outro So to all who seek His face, Embrace modesty, find your place. Choose threads that honor, not entice, Young and old, let’s stand as one, With virtuous hearts, His will be done.

Modesty’s Creed (Sea Shanty) by Daniel BradLee 5.19.2025 V1 We once sailed for beauty’s lure, Thought skin deep was the cure. Felt lost, adrift, our souls worn thin, Till God’s truth brought us home again. Ref Oh, modest is hottest, hear our cry, Clothed in virtue, we’ll sail to the sky! Steer for the King, with hearts held high, Build His kingdom, the trumpet is nigh! Ch Heave, ho, and hoist the sail, Modesty’s our mighty gale! With God’s grace, we’ll never fail, His righteous crew, we’ll blaze the trail! V2 They shout, “Flaunt it all, let eyes roam free!” But that course leaves the soul at sea. Fame’s a mist, pride’s a fleeting wave, God’s faithful heart keeps our spirits brave. Ref V3 “Show off!” they cry, “That’s power, that’s might!” But their chains bind tight in the worldly night. Their gaze clouds the soul, the charts don’t lie, YAHWEH’s truth we’ll sing to the sky! Ref V4 No temptin’ the crew, I’ll honor His name, My body’s His ship, guard it from shame. God’s Word’s my compass, steerin’ my heart, On righteous tides, I’ll play my part. Ref V5 No tight gear or shorts, no flash on the deck, No showy threads to turn a head’s check. On shore or at sea, our garb’s pure and true, My vow’s to the Lord, His will I pursue. Ref V6 Some call it control, a weight to bear, But modesty’s freedom, a breeze so fair. “Stay clothed,” He calls, when the trumpet sounds, I’ll rise in His glory, where grace abounds! Ref Ch Outro To all who seek His holy shore, Choose modest ways, His truth explore. Wear threads that honor, not entice, All hands as one, we’ll sail to Christ! All hands as one, we’ll sail to Christ!
