Oh that the modern church would have open ears to hear what was written to the Israelites.
The Israelites were addressed as the Church! They were called OUT OF EGYPT. They are the CALLED OUT ONES.
We who believe and therefore HEAR AND DO – SHEMA- the WRITTEN WORD of YHWH our CREATOR are the ones who are the Church.
The Israelites were used to the ways of the Egyptians that they were surrounded by. Once they were called out of Egypt they thought to use the Egyptian ways to honor YHWH.
But, Moses corrected them. Stephen referenced this in the book of Acts. It made YHWH angry that His people would think to use ways other than the ways He gave to worship Him. Egypt represents the world's ways. Believers are not to use worldly ways to worship YHWH.
Worldly ways are not holy. YHWH's ways are holy.
Thinking about the Armor...the PRIESTLY ATTIRE is the ARMOR WE ARE TO BE CLOTHED IN. Yet the modern church thinks the WORD of YHWH is depicting the Roman armor as that which to wear. So much ROMANIZATION has come into the church and hence the Father's ways aren't being followed whether it's through arrogance or neglect.
The prophet Daniel spoke of the fourth empire changing YHWH's calendar and days. This we have seen. It is through the Roman empire that His true and good ways have sought to be disdained and not known. How pathetically the church has arraigned themselves with Roman attire and Roman ways and have thought in so doing they were honoring the Creator of Holiness.
The One Who Is set apart does not accept Roman garb. He accepts only those clothed in His robes. He has called us to be a royal priesthood clothed in the garments of such and nothing less.
Ephesians and Deuteronomy speak of the Armor He desires us to wear.
Read the Scripture with the Scriptural understanding of the true Armor. It is not glorifying Roman armor. It is to the Holy One Who gives the Righteous armor. Do not think He is clothed with mere man's armor. Put on HIS ARMOR!
Be Strong in YHWH! Put on the full armor of Elohim! Take your stand against the enemy’s schemes. Be Strong in YHWH! Put on the full armor of Elohim! Our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but against rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world, against spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms. Put on the full armor of Elohim! So that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything, to stand! Stand Firm! The Belt of TRUTH buckled around your waist, The Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of Peace! Take up the Shield of FAITH to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one! Take the Helmet of SALVATION and the Sword of the SPIRIT which is the WORD of YHWH. Be Strong in YHWH! Put on the full armor of Elohim! Pray in the Spirit on all occasions! Be alert And keep praying for all the saints. Be Strong in YHWH and in the power of His Might! Be Strong in YHWH and in the power of HIS MIGHT!
Be Strong in YHWH! Put on the full Armor of Elohim!! This is the Armor of the Royal Priesthood! The Peculiar People! That is us!

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. 5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 6 Not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. 9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, (Ephesians 6)
Yeladim, obey your horim (parents) in Adoneinu, for this is right. [Mishle 6:20] 2 Kabed Es Avicha V’Es immecha [Shemoth 20:12; Devarim 5:16], (which is the mitzvah harishonah with a havtacha), 3 That it may be well with you and you will be a long time on ha’aretz. 4 And, Avot, do not provoke your yeladim to ka’as, but nurture them in the musar of Hashem and His tokhechah (reproof). [Bereshis 18:19; Devarim 6:7; Mishle 13:24; 22:6] 5 Avadim (servants), serve with mishma’at (obedience) your adonim according to the basar B’yir’ah ("with fear") and BirAdah ("with trembling") [Tehillim 2:11] with your levavot of erlichkeit (sincerity) as to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, 6 Not with eye service as men-pleasers, being mehaneh (pleasing) to Bnei Adam, but as avadim (servants) of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, doing the ratzon Hashem from your levavot. 7 Render your avodas kodesh service with a lev tov as avadim unto Adoneinu and not unto Bnei Adam, 8 Having da’as that whatever ma’aseh tov each one does, this he will receive back from Hashem, whether he is an eved or a Ben Chorin. 9 And, adonim, do the same things to them, forbearing threatening, having da’as that both their and your Adon is in Shomayim, and ein masso panim im Hashem (there is no partiality with Hashem). [IYOV 31:13,14] 10 For the rest, be continually empowered in the ko’ach of Hashem and in the oz of His gevurah. [Tehillim 27:14] 11 Put on the whole armor of Hashem for you to be able to stand against the nechalim (scheming deceitfulness, wiles, evil plots) of Hasatan. 12 Because we are not wrestling against basar vadahm (flesh and blood), but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the choshech of the Olam Hazeh, against the kokhot ruchaniyim ra’im (evil spiritual forces) in Shomayim. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of Hashem, that you may be able to withstand in the Yom HaRah and, having done all, to stand. 14 Stand, therefore, having girded your waist with HaEmes and having put on the breastplate of Tzedek, [Yeshayah11:5; Tehillim 132:9; Yeshayah 59:17] 15 And having put as shoes on your feet that which makes you ready to be a maggid of the Besuras HaGeulah. [Yeshayah 52:7] 16 With all these things, take up the shield of emunah, by which you will be able to quench all the flaming darts of haRah (the Evil one); 17 And take the helmet of yeshu’ah and the cherev of the Ruach Hakodesh, which is the Dvar Hashem. [Yeshayah 59:17; 49:2] 18 Daven in the Ruach Hakodesh always with all tefillos and techinnah (supplication). To that end keep shomer and always persevere in techinnah (supplication) for the Kadoshim; (Ephesians 6 Orthodox Jewish Bible, OJB)
