CLEAN HOUSE
This parable came to thought one afternoon while sitting on the sofa on 9-28-2000.
A house that looks clean, but is it?
Is your house clean?
It needs to be clean in two ways. How can you tell if it is clean?
A house in the light of a cloudy day looks clean if it is tidied up, but how can you tell if it is truly clean?
When you see the house in the dark you can see if it is clean in the hidden part, in the deep part- which represents the hidden areas of the heart.
The dark represents also the hard times or times in the world or times when no one appears to be watching. Do little creatures (roaches) come out of their hiding? Is the TV good? Is the language good? Remember He is always watching, He is always with us because He greatly and tenderly cares for us. Another time to see if it is clean is during the sunshine -when the sun rays shine in that you may see where there is dust in areas.
So, too, when we are reading YHWH’s Word His light shows where we may be ignorant or without knowledge and need to brush up and study to show ourselves approved rightly dividing His Word of Truth.
Cleaning is a daily process. Can’t clean everything at once, but need to have an orderly cleaning process. Example -Bedrooms on Monday, Living Room on Tuesday and so on…
Deep cleaning weekly in most used areas like the Bathroom and kitchen. Deep cleaning in some areas monthly or bi-monthly such as in closets and dressers. Seasonal 'spring' cleaning isn't so difficult or tedious when we keep up with daily, weekly and monthly cleanings. So too we need daily cleansing through repentance, meditation, worship, and Bible study. Weekly we learn and study new truth in the Scripture through fellowship. Monthly we appreciate special gatherings of fellowship. Seasonally we gain appreciation and admiration for our Heavenly Father as we prepare to meet with Him on His appointed times.
May your house and may your temple truly be clean in the hidden areas during the nighttime or on a cloudy day and also in the areas that may collect dust revealed by the sun's rays in the daytime! Blessings! Leslie Ann
