ABBA'S HERITAGE
'FOR OF SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN'-Messiah (Luke 18:16; Mark 10:14; Matthew 19:14)
The children are what it is about folks!
Don't forget the children for they are ABBA's Heritage! HE has given them to us to raise for HIM and share with them HIS wonderful truths!
The HOLY DAYS CELEBRATIONS are for the CHILDREN.
Don't forget the children. Don't leave them out of the equation.
The Pesach Seder Meal is for them! Let us patiently listen to them as they try to read the questions asked. They desperately need to be included if we want future generations to know the truth.
If we have a well organized celebration and perfect everything and fail to include the children, then we have neglected a vital component of the assembling together.
Yes, we are all Abba’s children who eagerly desire to taste of HIS Good Ways and learn. And, the youngest of us are in our charge to lead them tenderly, consistently to HIS grand Feast Table.
May they know they are accepted and part of the joyful celebrations of Abba!
Don't gloss over the children. Anticipate their parts. Exercise joyful patience with their questions. In doing this they grow and will return unto you the same effort when you need it.
In our home the children know that when we are preparing for a big Holy Day feast celebration of Abba's, it is about sharing the meal and events together and learning of Abba's glorious ways.
The children share in the Haggadah telling at Passover while reading passages from Scripture one after the other as I wash their feet. We count the Omer together unto Shavuot. We rejoice together on Shavuot. Together we learn about Trumpets and Atonement at Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur. Together we camp during Sukkoth. We all attend Shabbat weekly to honor the Kings day of rest.
As the heritage grows older they will remember that even when they were teenagers we would wait, and sometimes wait long, for their presence at the table to share in celebrating Abba's special days.
Let us be admonished from Scripture:
“The CRIES of the INFANTS SILENCES the ENEMY.
From the MOUTHS of BABES YHWH IS PRAISED! “
(Tehillim, Psalm 8:2; Matthew 21:16)
The children, Abba's Heritage, need to be greatly welcomed into our celebrations!
I urge you, oh leader, to gather the children before you while you teach as Messiah did.
Let them feel your heartbeat for the Father's Word!
And may they catch your vision for Abba's Holy Ways!
With Great Love, Leslie Ann
