"And in that day shall ye say, Praise YHWH, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted." Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 12:4
HIS NAME! How Wonderful Is HIS NAME! YHWH! Through these very letters, the very letters of HIS NAME, HE reveals HIS SALVATION MESSAGE!
יהוה
י YUD- HIS HAND
ה HEY- BEHOLD
ו WAW- THE NAIL
ה HEY- BEHOLD
Through the very early Hebraic letters of our Father's very name we see the word picture of the salvation message:
"The hand behold the nail behold."
"Behold The Pierced One,
Behold The Servant of all.
The Pierced One Who Is Revealed
The Almighty's Breath is Upon
However you look at it, the message is clear. ALmighty YHWH reveals the One, His Son, whom His Spirit overshadowed Mary and was conceived. His Son became the Suffering Servant Who was pierced for our transgressions and reveals to us and hooks us to the Way to behold and praise His Father the One Who gives breath. Deep and Wide is His love for us!
The Messiah,His only begotten Son, Y'shua HaMashiach, declared HIS Father's Name when HE showed Thomas His hands! Yes, He declared His Father's Name.
"Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Yahshua came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Master!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Yahshua came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Master and my El!” Then Yahshua told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Yochanan (John) 20:24-29
Throughout the Scripture we are admonished to declare THE NAME of our HEAVENLY FATHER!
We often speak of and refer to Him by His titles which are attributes of Who He Is. His titles speak of His character. Knowing and affirming His character is imperative.
However, may His name never be removed from our mouths. For therein is made known the way of salvation.
We are not to take His Name in vain. Do you know what this means within the Hebraic thought within which it was written and intended? To make vain means to make empty. May our mouths and hearts speak and declare HIS NAME. May we not make His name empty. Rather may we speak it and declare it with great love!
In the songs I have written, I utter the name of my Father with great love and thankfulness for Who HE IS! I declare His Name knowing that each time it is spoken the sound waves of the salvation message carry forth into the universe unendingly for His eternal esteem! In the Bible, everywhere LORD is in capital letters, is where His Name was taken out. LORD is not His name. It is a title referring to Him as Master. He is Master, but that is not His name. His name is sacred. It carries great meaning. It speaks of the plan of redemption. May His name be on our lips! To not speak it out of reverence is not correct, for if this were true how would His name be declared? In fact, the ten commandments say to not take His name in vain. Not only do we not speak it carelessly, but, we don't make it empty or void. In other words- we are to proclaim His name. We are to make His name declared and known.
Certainly when we speak of His attributes, which the fruit of His Spirit are among, we are speaking of Who He Is. This is true.
But, let us remember His Name. YHWH!
Tehillim (Psalm) 105:1 Give praise to YHWH, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
Tehillim (Psalm) 148:13 Let them praise the name of YHWH, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 24:15 Therefore in the east give glory to YHWH; exalt the name of YHWH, the El of Israel, in the islands of the sea.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 26:8 Yes, YHWH, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 42:12 Let them give glory to YHWH and proclaim his praise in the islands.
