Christmas
What is Christmas? Is it a holy day that our Father gave us to worship HIM? Is it the day of His Son, the Messiah's birth?
or
Is Christmas given by church father's to use the world's ways to worship the Father? Did the church father's think it good to convince people to celebrate Messiah's birth that day instead of worshipping a sun god?
Firstly, the Father did not give us Christmas in the WORD to worship HIM. Secondly, it is not HIS Son's day of birth.
What does the Scripture say?
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
With that said, if we worship HIM by way of christmas, then we worship HIM in falsehood not truth no matter how good it may seem.
Many of us have wonderful memories of this season. But when we come to the knowledge of truth, then we need to walk in it. .
The Father gave us HIS ways to worship HIM. Why fight it just because that is what you are used to doing or it is what the many on the broad path are doing?
I choose to be set apart unto worshipping HIM in spirit and in TRUTH and to raise HIS HERITAGE IN TRUTH. I forgive those who in the church have taught falsely not knowing. But, I must not walk in that falsehood nor other church falsehoods any longer. I am the Father's daughter, not the church's.
I have no respect nor desire to follow that which is contrary to Truth as defined by YHWH's Word. I love ABBA &I love His ways put forth in HisWord. He has given us wonderful Holy Days to worship Him & therein do I delight.
Messiah as the second Adam was born in the spring on the sixth day of the first biblical month of Abib. He was then circumcised 8 days later on the day of Passover the same day He became the Lamb of YHWH 33 years later. He was born in Bethlehem Ephrathah at Migdal Eder the Tower of the Flock where Rachel gave birth to Benjamin which means Son of My Right Hand to foreshadow Messiah's birth. There at the Tower of the Flock where the Temple lambs were wrapped in swaddling cloth so was Messiah the Lamb of YHWH clothed!
Upon this understanding we see how Messiah fulfills the Father's Holy Convocations that we may discern correctly the times and seasons that we may not be caught unawares.
When we correctly apply the Scripture in full from Genesis to Revelation then our lamp is full of oil, meaning the Spirit of YHWH within us imparts the understanding of the Scripture that we may apply it and be ready appropriately.
My blessings to you Mishpochah! Let us walk rightly! With great shalom! Leslie Ann
