Prayer: "Therefore every teacher of the law (Scribe) who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old" Matthew 13:52

Write the word Sabbath and Shabbat. Looking at the word Sabbath or Shabbat we see something wonderful. When looking at this word we see what it is all about: ABBA- Father. Abba is an Aramaic term; Aramaic is closely related to Hebrew. Messiah referred to the Heavenly Father as Abba in prayer. So here in the middle of Shabbat we see Abba-Father because it is all about Him. Shabbat =9-

A GIFT From YHWH.

In Hebraic thought, everything is circular in nature. Everything goes full circle. Draw a circle and go around with an arrow. Not like our common western or Greek thought here in the western hemisphere where everything is considered in a linear point of view. Draw a timeline with a point and an arrow.

We see this concept throughout the Scriptures. For instance we are told we will know the end from the beginning.

Looking back at our word Sabbath we see some other very important considerations. For instance the first part of the word spells in the Hebrew SHUV which means to return and the last part of the word is the Hebrew letter Tav. The tav represents covenant. So we see that Shabbat encompasses RETURN TO THE COVENANT. Whose covenant? The Father’s Covenant. Every week we look forward to return to the Father’s Covenant of SHABBATH!!

Each week just as Abba did with the very first week of Creation as our example so are we setting apart meaning making HOLY the 7th day and returning to meet together continuing to establish the Father’s Covenant of Sabbath.

And why are we here meeting together in a home? As a household? I like how Rabbi Eckstein put it. He writes:

The Power of the Home

He begins with reciting from Numbers 24:5

Could someone look up this Scripture and read it for us?

“How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel!”

And then he continues in regards to the Parsha, the Scripture Reading for this week.

More than individuals make a home, a home makes an individual. Our homes mold and shape our beliefs, values, and character. Wars and politics may influence the way of the world, but it’s our homes that truly decide the direction this world will take.

In this week’s Torah reading, Balaam, a mystic hired by King Balak to curse the children of Israel, blessed the nation instead. As Balaam stood on a mountain overlooking the nation of Israel encamped in the desert, he opened his mouth in an attempt to curse them (for the third time!), but this is what came out: “How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel!”

The Jewish sages teach that Balaam noticed how the tents of the Jews in the desert were carefully aligned so that no one could see into anyone else’s home. Balaam wanted to curse the Jewish people, but because of their modesty and morality, he was unable to do so.

Balaam’s blessing demonstrates the power of the home. More than a physical shelter, our homes have the potential to protect us wherever we go. When we teach values, kindness, and morality in our homes, both with words and also by example, our homes extend beyond their four walls to the four corners of the earth!

Wherever we go, and wherever our children go, we are protected by the values that we learned in our homes. We are directed by the teachings that we picked up at home, and therefore, we will never be lost and can always find our way. We may leave our house, but we can never truly leave our home.

So we must work to make our homes a place that, little by little, can change the entire world for good. What we share in our homes eventually makes its way out into the world. The people who we love, shape, and nurture in our homes go out to be the future parents and leaders of the next generation.

Make your home a place where God’s Word is studied and honored, a space where the culture is kindness. Make your home warm, inviting, and comforting. Let prayers be heard throughout our homes, day and night. When we create homes that are filled with godliness and goodness, eventually the world will be that way, too.

So this is why we are here tonight. Our goal is to establish a good foundation of following the Biblical pattern mandated in the Holy Scriptures. All of the New Testament stands upon and stands in support of the Old Testament foundation set forth for our following and understanding our Holy Creators ways.

Tonight specifically, we are setting aside, just as our Creator of the Universe did at Creation as our example, the 7th day of the week, the Sabbath Day, known as Shabbat in the Holy Language Hebrew-Lashon HaQodesh Ivrit.

Now let’s review what we learned about the beautiful name the Scripture calls the 7th day or setting aside each week- SHABBAT or Sabbath. We recall that who is shown clearly with in the letters of the word? Abba. And the word makes up two parts that teach us what about Abba’s desire for us to do each week? To return to His Covenant.

Now we read how Rabbi Eckstein spoke of the value of the home as a foundational unit of society. In fact, God created the home, the family household first- before the church.

I want you to see something else about this word. In Hebrew the middle letters we see spell Abba meaning Father.. Now a shortened term for Abba is Ab or Av. The b and v are the same letter in Hebrew. Sometimes pronounced as b and sometimes as v. Av means father also. So in this two letter Ivrit word we see Aleph and Bet. These two letters are quite significant. For starters they are the very first two letters of the Hebew Alephbet or alphabet as we would call it.

In Hebrew the letters have ancient pictoral meaning and gematria or numerical value.

The Alef is the ancient picture of an Ox and represents STRENGTH.

The Bet is the ancient picture of a house, or Nomadic Tent, and represents Household, Family or Home.

So this forms a word picture meaning Strength of the Home.

So in the word AB which means father we see that he is the Strength of the Home.

Abba Father, Avinu, Our Father is trying to teach us that He wants to be the Strength of our Homes. And he is showing us through the word Shabbat that one of the ways he can be this is by our returning to meet with him on Shabbat where we weekly teach our family to learn of His Covenant, of His ways that are ordained from the very first week of His Creation.

Alef the first letter in the AlefBet has the gematria of one. The word Alef spelled out in Hebrew letters equals 111. 111 means FOUNDATION. So He who is the Strength is also the FOUNDATION of our Home.

Bet has the gematria of two. When we join the Alef with the Bet we see He is strong where two come together. Remember Messiah’s words in Matthew 18:20 that where two or three are gathered in His name then there He is in the midst and that what they agree upon will be done. Psalm 133 says the Father commands a blessing when brethren dwell together in unity. It is as oil flowing down Aaron’s beard to the hem of his garment. -Oh what a teaching therein!

The blessing of His presence!

When Alef Bet come together in addition we have the sum total of 3.

Abba is two words: Ab Ba and this means Father Come. So let us pray right now to Abba and ask Him to come into our presence in a mighty way. May we invite him into our households. And let us know His command, let us know His Blessing, let us know His presence.

We will take the tallith now. The large white tallith is a prayer shawl.

“Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: They shall make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments… And this shall be tzitzit for you, and when you see it, you will remember all the commandments of God, and perform them.” Num 15:38–41 "Make tassels for yourselves on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself." Deut 22:12 It is considered a Tent. Under it we join together.

Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheynu Melech ha'olam asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu al mitzvat tzitzit. Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the mitzvah of tzitzit. Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheynu Melech ha'olam asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'hitatef b'tzitzit. Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to enwrap ourselves with tzitzit.

It is considered a Wedding canopy. We join together in one accord as the Bride of Messiah.

Remember the oil flowing down Aarons beard and over to the hem of his garment? The hem of the garment referred to is the Tzi-Tzits. Oil represents His Holy Spirit, the Tzi-Tzits represent so much. They represent Healing. The woman with the issue of blood reached out and touched the hem of Messiah’s garment- she reached out for his Tzi-Tzits and he felt power go from him and she was healed. Matthew 9:20–21 When we gather together Echad, as One, the Holy Spirit flows and brings healing. Hallelujah! Remember David cut off the corner of Saul’s garment? He was cutting off the Tzi-Tzits. The Tzi-Tzits mean Authority. Believers in Messiah Yahshua have authority because we have access to him as he is at the right hand of the Father in the heavens! There are 12 Tzi-Tzits in total on a Tallith. 12 represents disciples, Talmidim, students who scriptures! There is one more important things for now that I want you to understand before we pray while Echad, One, under the Tallith. The Tzi-Tzits hang from the prayer shawl –drape one over myself- around the thigh area. This signifies descendants or generations, TOLDOT because the thigh area is where procreation occurs and children are born. As a person walks, the Tzi-Tzits move and the generations are signified. This begins in the home.

Let us pray together now.

Micah 6-8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? This is our desire. You put this desire within us. Of Father of Lights with whom there is no shadow of turning, you who are Love, in whom is our trust, may it please you to be present among us this Shabbath. May it please you that we gather together on this day you appointed as Your weekly Feast Day with Your People. This day that according to Your Word is Your Mark on our Forehead and on the back of our Hand. This day that for your people who honor it is a sign that we are Your people indeed. Thank you Father for calling us Your Own. We love You with all of our hearts, may nothing lack in our regard towards you Abba. In Yahshua’s Mighty Loving Name, Amen.

Ex 31:13 "Tell the people of Israel: 'Be careful to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you from generation to generation. 20:12 And I gave them my Sabbath days of rest as a sign between them and me.
In 1776, he described the complicated nature of the American Colonies to his friend, James Warren: “The management of so complicated and mighty a machine, as the United Colonies, required the meekness of Moses, the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon, added to the valor of David.”

Let me encourage you today. Looking at our Gregorian Calendar we see that it is July 7th, 2017 or 7.7.17. Interesting numbers – we see three number 7’s. 7 represents the Father and here we have three of them which is a solid representation. We actually have four because we are seeing this set of three 7’s as Day 7 is opening. Now look at the sum total of the date 7.7.17 and it adds up to 22 which adds to 4 the number for DOOR. So, here we are opening the DOOR to YHWH’s Sabbath. And if we add the entire date of 7.7.2017 we see the number 6 which represents man. So, here we see man is at the door of the Sabbath. Who is the Door? It is Messiah for he said He is the Master of the Sabbath! He is the way unto the Father! Jesus said I am the door if anyone enters through me he will be saved. Ps 118 the gate of the Lord the righteous will enter through it I shall give thanks to you for you have answered me and you have become my salvation salvation in Hebrew is Yeshua the Hebrew name of Jesus. Behold He stands at the Door and knocks that He may come in and sup with us! Rev 3:20 Hallelujah!

And now today while fasting, I was siting at the dining room table writing a letter to my oldest son, Joshua. In it I was sharing with him about the last couple of days and the testimonies that recently came forth.

Since I was fasting and sharing about that too I began thinking about the word feast f-e-a-s-t and how when you aren’t feasting you drop the e out of feast and it becomes fast- f-a-s-t. Cool!

In Hebrew the long 'ee' sound can represent ‘me’. How interesting- When we choose to take the ‘me’ sound out of feast then we are saying no to me - to the flesh and saying yes to Him- the One who deserves our Praise- the Almighty El Shaddai!

He honors when we fast and dedicate that time to prayer and study of His Word.

May we feast together and may we fast together.

As I shared in a previous newsletter, today the 12th is also the day of each month that I had already set aside for fasting these past almost two years in honor of the unborn. That made this day that we are honoring Day of Atonements even more special personally.

Then I started thinking,

“I wonder if fast is called fast so the time of not eating will go by fast!” lolol! Well, I am not sure about that, but it was one of my thoughts! :)

More about our gathering. In the teaching I addressed the importance of Father’s Feasts and our observing His Calendar so that we are aware of what He is accomplishing in His Story.

I recalled about the ‘lowly’ shepherds and the ‘wise’ men being the two groups who were shown the birth of the Messiah. Both of them took note of what was pretty much not a loud event. They were both watching. Both of them were chosen to witness Father’s provision of His Son.

The Shepherds were the ones guarding the Temple Sheep for Passover outside the Tower of the Flock. They were preparing the Temple Lambs for the Passover and the Father's Temple Lamb was about to be born in that very place at that very time! Marvelous Wonder of it all!

The Wise men were men who studied the Scripture and the studies handed down from Daniel of Old from where he was taken into captivity. Both groups were fully aware of Father's calendar!

These two groups of people were aware.

Anna and Simeon who served in the Temple were also waiting, observing with wholesome heart and aware.

We are admonished in Scripture to know. How do we know?

Messiah said that a wicked generation seeks a sign. Why?

The generation who wants a sign is considered perverse because they aren’t following the signs given- the signs in heaven and earth that are according to Father’s calendar.

The Good Man of the house will not suffer his house to be robbed because he is knowing, watching, observing guarding Father’s Holy Days Calendar and understands the seasons. We know when we guard His ways! Awesome!

What Father is accomplishing is seen by those who are watching like the humble shepherds who were watching their sheep so long ago.

When I went home after the gathering and cleaned up and was getting everybody ready for bed, I received a call. I was told that the people were greatly blessed. I had felt this and we felt Father’s presence so fragrantly.

But, even more than I realized.

Most of the people didn’t speak good English. They came from Shepherd Families in Mexico!

Wow!

Even though they didn’t understand all the English, Ruach HaQodesh relayed the message to them as to how important they are to Him through the message He laid upon my heart to share with them! And they were blessed!

HalleluYHWH!!

HalleluYAH!

Why do we assemble?

Let me share with you what happened to me today!

I won a free DVD rental from Redbox! HalleluYHWH! Guess what movie was available? - Woodlawn! I have been waiting to see this movie! HalleluJAH! We went; we got the movie! That was yesterday. Then today reclined to enjoy the afternoon with my boys watching a family movie. Hallelujah!

In it we see how an evangelist was obedient to the calling of God to help a football team in Alabama come together because of strife from previous segregational devestation. There was anger! But an evangelist offered the Truth, the Message! And it was received! A football team was renewed! They hold the right hand index finger up to show there is a way-One way!

One of the football players had a huge anointing on his life and the gift to run fast like Eric little the missionary! Hallelujah - all for the glory of YHWH!

This team is going to play against their counterpart high school who they were at great odds with. They were an example to the other team!! At one point they go and check out the huge stadium where they were set to play. One asks why would so many people coming to see them and Tony Nathan says, "WE ASSEMBLE to give hope!!

Hallelujah! Here, my sons and I watching this movie on the very day the Torah portion is HE ASSEMBLED! Then later on the evangelist says simply "We assemble!"

And why do we assemble?

Psalms 133 says that when we come together in unity, hallelujah, hallelujah, that He commands a blessing! Do you want a blessing commanded by the father into your life today?? Then come together! Let us ASSEMBLE as ONE! Let us bring forth the Torah to the generations! Let us bring the Torah to the nation! Let us bring the TORAH to the galaxies which give him praise! Hallelujah! Let us join as one today! Blessed be His holy name by which we are named! A character that is unblemished, covered in Messiah's redemption, full of overflowing compassion!

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day. Hebrews 10;25

Our heavenly Father inundated us with blessing upon blessings - absolutely incredible!! The testimonies were vivid and remarkable! HALLELUYHWH! HE LOVES HIS CHILDREN AND WE LOVE HIM! THANK YOU YHWH FOR YOUR SON YAHSHUA OUR MESSIAH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Prayers that I have been praying concerning the Messianic Faith were addressed. Three main concerns I had were:

1. Divisions being caused by different understandings. Why? Because with all the wonderful learning and realizing how important to walk in our Father's Ways that He established and that Messiah walked as our Example- we as a whole had forgotten the most important teaching that Messiah reminds us of. Paul addressed it also in 1 Corinthians 13. The WAY OF LOVE! Without LOVE we can know everything and do everything right and give away everything we have, but it is nothing. The Father looks as WHY we did something -not at what we did. LOVE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

2. There was stalenss because of so much study from Rabbinical sources and commentary that the HOLY SPIRIT was being neglected. After 1 Corinthians 13 and learning that LOVE IS KEY then Paul moves on to 1 Corinthians 14 to show us the WAY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! HALLELLUYHWH! Messiah purposely assured us of praying the Father to send us HIS COMFORTER WHO would TEACH US ALL THINGS THAT WE HAVE NEED TO KNOW! We must be led by HIS SPIRIT!

3. Again with all the gathering information to get back on the Ancient Paths, we have forgotten Messiah as a whole. The spirit of anti-christ/anti-messiah was creeping in. Messiah stated that HE IS THE WAY TO THE FATHER AND THAT NO MAN CAN COME UNTO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM! We must stand on Messiah the ROCK OF OUR SALVATION! He is the WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE! HE IS THE RIGHTEOUS SEED who died for our sins and rose again that we may have eternal life!

What a blessed and encouraging and confirming fellowship we had with over 1200 brothers and sisters in our Mishpochah!

The teachers were Rico Cortez** who was on fire of the Holy Spirit and Dr Hollisa Alewine**, Eddie CHumney, Dr Diana Dye**, John DIffenderfer, Daniel Botkin, Victor Schlatter, Brad Scott, Laurie Cardoza-More, Scott Aaron, Tony Robinson*, Ryan WHite, Izzy Avraham, Mark and Tammy McLendon, Ralph and Mindy Seta, Steve Manning, Christ Knight, Dr. Deborah Wiley, Daniel Musson, Arhtur Bailey, Mark Ostrowski, Ed Harris and David Rives. Plus wonderful Musicians and Praise Dancers gathered of all ages. It was a tremendous gathering! The children, youth and adults of all ages were greatly blessed! I put asterisks next to the ones I sat in classes where the teaching was fundamental and reaching!

WOMEN OF THE WELL ministries at One Kingdom Fellowship sooo graciously welcomed the ministry of RUACH HAQODESH! What a blessed evening of fellowship and ministry in song and in YHWH's WORD! Blessed be HIS NAME FOREVER! I have a beautiful PESACH/PASSOVER song that I wrote this winter (Actually I wrote a few this winter!) that I shared with them and HIS anointing was full in the place! They were the first one presented with the just released 2nd CD. Pastors Mark and Phyllis are dear friends of mine for the past going on two decades and they are among the sweetest of YHWH's vessels that I know! How HE chooses to pour forth through them consistently...you can see the spirit of Messiah in Pastor Mark's eyes- Messiah's character shines brilliantly through him..and Pastor Phyllis's arms are always full with the actions of bringing hope to those around her. They are humble servants about their Father's business! Blessed BE HIS NAME FOREVER! What beautiful ministry lies ahead for WOW ministry at OFK! This is the reason it is called SCRIPTURE SONG SCRATCHES because in the studio when you just run through a song by playing it and then singing it -you call it a 'scratch' of what you want it to be. I have wonderful ideas for these songs, but do to still paying off the first recording expenses of the first CD and not wanting to go further into debt by using more recording studio hours, I decided to release the Scratches! I pray they are a blessing to you! HalleluYHWH! It was not something I was asked to do. But, I purposed it in my heart as led by the Holy Spirit. The young student of mine who I witnessed go from difficulty with focus and memory retention to becoming one of my top achieving students (Who also went to zero seizure ativity!) after eating fresh produce from Tower Gardens and Whole Food Nutrition with Complete Shake Variety is the one who has felt led to do missions trips to Haiti. Their trip last year was life transforming spiritually and they feel led to continue missions there yearly. I wanted to be able to help them. So far, by joining I have and look forward to helping much more in the days ahead. So know that when you sign up with me to share with others then you too are part of the wonderful adventure of supporting missions! I raised $300 within the first two weeks and mynext goal is to raise $500 to help their family go to Haiti. Today I just learned that though they are needing funds to help with the missions trips, that they too are raising money to help another friend with their missions trips the same way I am helping them! I tell you, I see a beautiful circle of support through the Tower Gardens and Whole Food Nutrition! Join with me today and be part of this wonderful circle of support - body, mind and soul! www.l-m1.towergarden.com
songsofleslieann.comtag:songsofleslieann.com,2005:Post/60162512014-03-31T21:00:00-03:002014-04-01T06:42:29-03:00Living Ministries Won!
One month before Passover at Purim was Mercury (which means MESSENGER) brightest in the sky. At Passover during the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse the planet Mars (which means WAR) is seen right above the blood moon! Not only that, but Yellowstone National Park has had an elevation in ground indicating something going on within the super volcanic area beneath the surface and since has begun having seismic activity since March 27th with a 4.8 magnitude on March 30th- Rosh Chodesh- A New Moon- which is halfway timewise between Purim and Passover.

Both in Gen 1:14 and Luke 21:25 we are told there are signs in the heavens. We need to understand them according to the Bible and this is one reason I have invested in the ability to garden indoors. We don't know how atmospheric conditions may be, nor the water. As Joseph prepared for the years ahead, it is my prayer that we too prepare. With this innovative method of Tower Garden, the water is recycled, indoor gardening thrives, each family can sustain themselves with produce in a very small area. We need to be ready. Revelation speaks of wormwood polluting the water and the comet ison has already shown debris going into the atmosphere. These things are not to make us scared, but rather to make us be prepared.

I love outdoor gardening, but in this time we are living in we need to be ready for unpleasant atmospheric circumstance. I got into Tower Gardens to make it available for us to be able to garden safely and have fresh food readily available for our families.
songsofleslieann.comtag:songsofleslieann.com,2005:Post/60162502014-03-25T21:00:00-03:002014-03-26T06:24:20-03:00WHOLENESS
Excitedly last winter of 2013 I embarked on a journey that I had long awaited. Having researched the many facets entailing making such considerable changes to substantiating not only my livelihood, but also of my fellow man, it was time to carry forth two foundational dimensions of overall wholeness. Initially setting out to fulfill a desire to record songs that I had written to entail both modern English and Ancient Hebrew Scriptures onto a cd became by the Spring to include a website and worldwide 24 hour/seven days a week internet radio station! Four more cds are presently in the works! Secondly, and now just beginning as of this month March 3, 2014 the second dimension of wholeness is being realized. I have eagerly desired for each of my fellow man to be whole not only in soul, but also in body and so taking an active role in this endeavor is greatly elevating for me! Within less than three weeks I moved up three levels to become a Virtual Franchisee owner and am helping to make Whole Food Nutrition and NASA initiated Aeroponic Gardening available here and eventually abroad! Here is to the betterment of livelihood!
songsofleslieann.comtag:songsofleslieann.com,2005:Post/60162492014-03-02T20:00:00-04:002021-04-16T03:05:05-03:00Shabbat with Three Names
What an awesome Shabbat Service this past Sabbath! This beautiful Shabbat was full and weighty with YHWH's Holy Spirit! How beautiful He is! HalleluYHWH!

This particular Shabbat had three significant aspects in name.

Shabbat Shelakim- Shabbat of the half shekel. Everyone whether rich or poor gave the same amount for the Tabernacle. All are equal~AMEN!

Shabbat Makor- Shabbat that happens right before Rosh Chodesh- right before a new moon! Rosh Chodesh is a significant time where our Father wants us to gather and remember.

And this past Shabbat was third out of four Shabbats to precede Purim! Remember how siginificant Purim is?! The name Purim is found in the Yom Kippur or Yom HaKipPURIM -the Day of Atonement when the Book of Life is opened!

So, we had a wonderful celebration and the anointing of His healing and love filled and weighted the atmosphere. Messiah's was with us -in great presence was He ushered in.

What a beautiful time of sharing about the MESSIANIC SIGNIFICANCE OF CHANUKKA FOR US BELIEVERS AT PASTORS SAMUEL AND NADEAN EREV SHABBAT TORAH CHAVARAH.

Here is a little clip from what I shared and what happened!

Number Three: The Menorah is represented by us also!

The revelation of number three came to me while I was bowing in prayer with my hands lifted up to the Father. The vision that Zecharyah saw of the two olive trees on either side of the Menorah represents us both physically and spiritually.

When we are bowed in prayer with our hands lifted up on either side of our head, our arms represent the two olive trees and our fingers the leaves that are for the healing of the nations! Our hands are meant to serve others! When we use our ten fingers to follow the ten commandments we are serving both YHWH and one another!

When sharing at a Chavarah Fellowship, a young woman came up to me with a picture she had drawn of the revelation I shared -here is that picture.

He replied, “Do you not know what these are?” "No, my lord,” I said. So he said, “These are the two who are anointed to serve YHWH of all the earth.” Zecharyah 4:11-14

Our head has seven orifices just as the Temple Menorah has seven holders. We have two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and one mouth. Each is a gate to allow the King of Glory to come in! We are to see, taste, hear and smell that YHWH is good and HIS WORD good.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. -Tehillim (Psalm) 24:7

When my youngest son Daniel was around 3 years old, I was dropping the older kids off at the skating rink. We had a guest with us and they asked Daniel who was sitting in his car seat, "Are you a Christian?" He said, "No. I'm a sheep." We all laughed and I explained to the guest that we are our Father's sheep and He is our great Shepherd and that is why Daniel said he is "a sheep".

When I was in first grade Psalm 100 and 23 were Bible chapters that I had to commit to memory and the past couple of weeks Daniel and I have been goving over it. A family down the road was just in a crisis and asked for a Bible and we gave them one and encouraged them to begin hiding Psalm 100 in their heart and to highlight with colored pencil each verse once they learned it.

Early this morning I had quoted this chapter out loud to keep it fresh in our thoughts, and then just now, on this lovely Shabbat (7th day Sabbath), this beautiful picture was sent to me.

Below is Psalm 100 with the early Hebrew as it was in the Scripture before ancient teachers removed HIS name and replaced it with THE LORD which is a title meaning the Master. HIS name is sacred and to be spoken with great reverence, but We are to declare HIS name because within it is the salvation message.

We are not to take HIS name in vain means in the Hebraic context to not let it be void or unspoken. Wow! We are repeatedly admonished throughout Scripture to declare HIS name.

Shout for Joy to YHWH and know that HE is Elohim (Mighty God). Serve YHWH with gladness; come before HIS presence with gladness. Know that YHWH is Elohim, it is HE that made us and not we ourselves. We are HIS people, the sheep of HIS pasture. Enter into HIS gates with thanksgiving and into HIS courts with praise. Be thankful to HIM and bless HIS name. YHWH is kindly and HIS kindness is everlasting, HIS faithfulness continues to all generations. -Tehillim (Psalm) 100 (The Scriptures Of Truth)
songsofleslieann.comtag:songsofleslieann.com,2005:Post/60162442013-11-07T20:00:00-04:002013-11-08T00:53:09-04:00Are you enjoying the songs?
To prepare these songs to be made available from the piano bench to you cost over $10,000.oo which covered over 200 hours in the recording studio, the processing equipment, materials and literature to produce, the countless hours outside the studio preparing and compiling the music over years of meditation and study.. and it continues to grow.

I can't quite put words to a feeling I have while listening to Leslie Ann's singing and music but there's something there that always reminds me of Enya. Both have a great talent for harmonising with their music and their own voice... Whatever the reason, I get a strong feeling of such performances by Enya as "Na Laetha Geal M'Óige" and (dare I say it) "Theme from Harry's Game" (while with her family group "Clannad") but that could just be me. Some would argue they are very different but there's some resonant chord in both artists that comes through.

A great performance and this album may not be your first choice for your collection but there's always room for great music and a beautiful voice. Music can be used to bring out a story or theme that goes far beyond language and faith... Or maybe music is the purest form of faith if done right. This album has been done right.
